VU updates!

Our semi finalists had put up a good fight with the other clusters and two of our VU members were selected as finalists for Emerge talentime! Let's give them our big and loud applause! Woohoo!!

Grace Wong Li San had secured a BRONZE for our cluster. Yay!


For our Manhunt and Beauty Pageant, VU cluster by far has the most finalists! Wow. So proud of them. These are the beauties and macho guys chosen:

so remember to come, bring all your banners, your whistles, your voice and your spirit, to support and cheer for them during emerge yup? Always look out for the VU banner. There is where our team will be sitting together to cheer.

Also want to give my best compliment to our VU apprentice: Jason and Clement, as well as our Word Power team, Hannah, Sophia and Charis....They have really worked so hard and gave their best in the competition. VU is so proud to have you!

Other results have yet to be announced. Will update all of you once it is out.

This week we are having arm wrestling, go kart, basketball, captain's ball, football and futsal. Details are in the previous blog. Do come and cheer for your cluster alright?

VU ROCKS!

COMPETITION THIS WEEKEND! (Aug 16th and 17th)

Hi Members,

This weekend, there will be some sports competitions going on.

Aug 16
Go Kart
Time: 10am
Venue: Extreme Park

Arm Wrestling
Time: 8 pm (no more 1pm --> Please note the changes)
Venue: City Harvest KL

Aug 17
Basketball, Captain Ball, Football, Futsal
Time : 2pm - 6pm
Venue: Sunway University College Field

Participants who have been contacted by your event leaders to come and compete, please do come one hour earlier for registration and preparation of heart. Truly sorry for those who are not selected. It is okay, do not be discouraged. Do try again next year, alright? There are also still many other competitions going on that you can be take part in as well. Do contact Hazel at hazelchc@gmail.com for more details. Nonetheless, we don't need to be part of competitions only in order to be part of VU cluster, or part of emerge. We can all still play a part in this cluster by coming to support and cheer our members on.

We need your cheers and support as a cluster. Everybody has a role to play. Let us all be united in spirit and keep encouraging our participants to give their best alright?
