Updates on Prelims

Dear Members,

The deadline for submission of Preaching Challenge and Personal Testimony is suppose to be LAST SATURDAY (19th July 2008) 11:59pm. Howeve, so far I have only received two submissions. Well done to those who have submitted. To those who have yet to submit, please kindly send in your DRAFT latest by Wednesday 2pm.

Next weekend (26th July 2008) - 10am

TALENTIME INTER CLUSTER PRELIM! Those who have passed audition, please prepare well, dress well and come for practices as much as you can. You will be contacted by the event leader himself/ herself to come over for practices.

Also those who are not involved, please come to support your cluster. It is the greatest highlight of the week! Don't miss it. And do come and cheer to encourage our team. VU ROCKS!

Also, Prelim for Basketball and Track and Field will be next sunday (27th July 2008) 5pm at Sunway Field. Make sure you are there!

Fundraising Event

Dear Members,

I just want to inform you that our first weekend for the fund raising was excellent. But we need to do slightly more for the next coming weekend just in case. Because most of the people had already seen what we have in our booth, they probably won’t get that much stuff from us. So i am planning to sell 2nd books instead. So right now we need more Story Books, Comics, Educational Books and etc.... so if you can please bring it on Wednesday 8pm in Church. Thanks for the support guys, just to remind you that you are doing this for the VU Cluster. We want the best and we will have the best...

VU UPDATES! - iron chef, personal testimony and preaching challenge

Iron Chef registration will be closing on Wednesday 16th July because we are going to intensively train participants from then onwards. So those who are still interested please kindly sign up as soon as possible before Wednesday.

URGENT! In need of 2nd Hand Items for fundraising!

Hi VU cluster members,

We are in need of 2nd hand usable items to be sold during this weekend in our flea market. This is so that we can raise extra fund to help our cluster with the runnings of the competition. It can be anything...from nice clothes, accessories, to even electronic things. But please do make sure they are usable :)

Please kindly send in your 2nd hand items to church this wednesday (16th July 2008) by 8pm. Look for Thomas. His number is: 012 699 8040

If item sold, 10% of the profit will be returned to the owner. 90% will be used to fund the cluster events. Please do help out as much as possible ya?
